What happens at night here..

Every night it's about the something...

Pile in the house and unload everything.
Start to make dinner. (Entertain Liam and Mackenna asking to eat every snack on the world while we cook.)
Eat dinner. ( tell Mackenna a million times to sit down and eat.
Baths...
Put Liam to bed
Play with Mackenna
Brush teeth Mack to bed
Finally...adult time and tv, scrapbooking, edit photos, and then lights out.

Crazy nights every night but we manage to get it done every night.

Project Life 2013 Weeks 1-3

2013, ummm its almost the end of January, where is time going?

Here are my spreads for 2013 weeks 1-3. I'm using the Seafoam edition and the Studio Calico Project Life Kit. I'm so glad that I decided to join the Studio Calico subscription for Project Life. I love all the stickers, embellishments and cards that come with the kit. So worth it.

I got a new printer. It's call the Selphy Cannon CP 900 So easy to use and all of my photos are printed using this printer. Love it.

Here are my spreads..

Love this project and system and so glad that I finished all of 2012.

Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013!

I've never made a big deal about new years before, but something seems different this year. 2012 was a tough and big year for my family. So very exciting moments and some really hard items to swallow.

Liam, my son was born this year, June 2012 -- He has brought a lot of joy to everyone this year and also our family just feels complete with him here. He is now 6 months old, and it went so fast. This year we learned my mom's cancer has returned. 8 chemos later it had moved and grown a mass in another area. Although, the dr said there is nothing else they can do at this point, my mom is doing more chemo starting this month

With every negative there is a positive. I got to see my brother twice this year after leaving for the army. Also, my grandfather visited us from New Zealand in September and my Grandmother is coming to visit from New Zealand this month.

I have a couple resolutions this year.

1. Start Savings accts for the kids --> Emergencies, Braces (hope not), college. For what ever they need we have the money for it on the spot.

2. Eat Healthier as a family. It's easy to get in a routine and cook fast unhealthy meals as a busy family. But with more planning I hope to change that this year.

3. Saving's Acct. I'm almost 26 and I've never had a savings acct with actual money in it. So, for the first time we are putting money in savings. I've set up a second direct deposit from my check to go into directly.

4. Simplify, Enjoy and live life to the fullest this year.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Every year we go out in the woods, only 30 minutes from home, and scope out our Christmas Tree. I love that our ceilings are vaulted because we can have a 12 -15 foot tree. There is just something about a large tree that I love.

I had to work this year on the day that worked the best, weather wise, to go out and get the tree so Mackenna and Dad headed out to find us the perfect tree this year.

Here they are.... They didn't do too shabby.

Here is the tree all decorated. The cluster of ornaments is my wonderful daughter and her
superb decorating skills. I've rearranged the tree a couple of times, and the ornaments see to group themselves back together again. Mackenna 1 - Mommy 0.

Every year we go to the Ornament both at the mall and get a new Ornament made for the year. This is the first year we get to add Liam. :)

I love this time of year of hanging out with Family. In a week or so we are headed to Seattle, Washington to hang with my side of the family for Christmas. So excited..

Elf On a Shelf

What happened the last week. Things have been out of whack with me and my family and my mom's health the last week, this week snuck away.

Elf on a Shelf...! Have you heard of it?

This is my first year using it. It was a gift from my Grandma last Christmas and this year is the first year we have put it to the test. Mackenna has named her Elf Cody. No, idea where the name came from, it's just something she went with, so the name is Cody.

It's been fun thinking of things to do with the elf everynight, or more like last minute before I leave the house each day.

Here is what Cody has been up too!

What are you doing with your Elf this year?

Phew what a week!

This week/ weekend has been busy. Family in town, turkey day and a teething baby. Liam hasn't wanted me to put him down lately. Learning to do everything one handed the last few days.

So thankful he sleeps through the night. Otherwise I would be out if my mind.

3.5 weeks till we head to Seattle for Christmas. Can't wait!!

Today I had the day off and I tackled a mountain of laundry. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

P.S : someone decided today was the day to ride their big girl bike

Thursday cuteness

Still trying to get over the sickness that has plagued my household. Slowly catching up from things this week. Work is crazy busy so things have been in the back burner untouched lately.

I managed to finally take photos of the kids in their "big sister" and "little brother" shirts.

I hope to finish two weeks of project life layouts this evening.

Hope everyone is having a great week so far
